Oregon softball team spoils Milton’s hopes, other scores
The Red Hawks finished 16-6 overall. Milton finished second behind Fort Atkinson in the Badger South and wanted another shot at the champions.
It looked like that would happen. The Red Hawks held a 6-5 lead after six innings, but Oregon scored twice in the top of the seventh on a bases loaded infield throwing error. Milton got runners on second and third in the bottom of the inning, but could not bring them home.
