Raptors blank Ashippun

— The Milton Junction Pub Raptors pounded visiting Ashippun, 10-0, in eight innings Sunday in Rock River League baseball.

Milton holds a two-game lead in the Southwest Division with a 4-0 record and is 7-0 overall.


Raptors starter Tom Klawitter notched seven strikeouts and walked none through the first four innings to earn the victory. It was Klawitter’s second start after missing last season with an injury.


Tom Perry went 3-for-3 with a pair of triples to lead the Raptors’ 12-hit attack.


The Raptors play Thursday in the Fort Atkinson tournament and host Madison Laurel Tavern on Sunday.
