— A fight over a marijuana cigarette led to charges of domestic disorderly conduct for a Beloit couple.

A sheriff's deputy dispatched late Tuesday morning for a report of a domestic dispute was told by the woman that her live-in boyfriend threw a roach clip at her and then shoved her into a plant holder, causing the plant to fall, according to sheriff's office reports.

The boyfriend told the deputy the woman was upset because he had smoked a marijuana cigarette that morning and did not share it with her. The woman became upset and hit him in the head, causing a cut. She also tried to pour sugar into his gas tank, according to reports.

Both were arrested and told to stay away from each other for 72 hours.
