-- MICHELE R. SCHULTZ, 42, of 506 S. Jackson St. Apt. 2, Janesville, on a charge of second degree reckless endanger safety Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. at 1800 Center Avenue, Janesville.
-- A 17-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE FEMALE, on charges of abuse of children causing bodily harm and damage to property Tuesday at 8:40 p.m.
-- KENNETH D. GEARHART, 50, 10328 Highway 81, Beloit, was arrested on a charge of ordinance-violation battery Monday at 8:43 a.m. Tom C. Macgowan, 57, of 10316 Highway 81, Beloit, was cited in the same incident for trespassing on Gearhart’s land. Rock County deputies report that a male victim was beaten resulting on six or seven broken ribs and a possible punctured lung.
-- CHASE of two suspects in a car and then on foot after the car got hung up on some brush at the Marling Lumber yard on River Street, Janesville, at about 2:07 a.m. Sunday. Police had been watching a house where they believed burglary suspects were located. Two people left the house and drove away; police tried to stop them, and the chase ensued. Additional officers, one with a dog, were called in. Both persons were located. One was arrested on a charge of underage drinking.
-- BURGLARY to a home on East Colley Road, Turtle Township, reported at 4:47 p.m. May 8. Reported stolen were a 42-inch TV, digital camera, rifle and a box with gold and sterling silver pieces.
-- TWO FAKE $20 BILLS passed at Taco Bell, 2626 Humes Road, Janesville, reported at 11:38 p.m. April 23.
