Janesville Parker golfers drop two, win one in Big Eight

— Janesville Parker lost to Madison Memorial and Verona and defeated Madison La Follette to finish 5-4 in Big Eight Conference boys golf Monday at Odana Hills.

Parker posted a 328. Memorial swept the meet with a 302, Verona shot 306, and La Follette shot 385.

The Vikings’ Dustin Richards, who won the Ashenfelter Invitational, posted a 3-under 33 on the front nine but had a 7-over 43 on the back for a 76. Peyton Graham added an 80 (38-42); Taylor Braun shot 85 (44-41), and John Milner posted an 87 (44-43) to round out the Vikings’ scores.

Memorial’s Peter Webb shot even-par 72 (37-35) for medalist honors.

Parker, Craig and Beloit Memorial play the Tri-City tournament at Glen Erin at 11 a.m. Thursday.
