— Sun Prairie nosed out Janesville Parker in a Big Eight Conference boys track and field dual meet Tuesday at Monterey Stadium.

The Cardinals got the best of three photo finishes to down the Vikings, 71-70.

Sun Prairie and Parker runners finished with the same time in the 300 intermediate hurdles and 400 and 800 relay events, but the Cardinals were declared the winners in each instance.

“It was a competitive dual meet,” said Parker coach Joe Dye. “It was a good meet. We would have rather had the 71, but it was a great meet.”

Parker’s Brad Money won both the 400 (52.3) and 800 (2:01.4) to lead the list of individual performances.

The Vikings, who are 3-1 in Big Eight dual meets, compete in the Spartan Invite at Madison on Friday.
