— The Janesville woman injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday remained in critical condition Thursday at University Hospital, Madison.

Sheri L. DeWitt, 41, Janesville was flown to hospital Tuesday night for treatment of "severe, life-threatening injuries," after Douglas E. Boughton, 63, Janesville, lost control of the motorcycle she was riding on when he failed to negotiate a curve as he drove south on Hillside Road near Hickory Hills Campground, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

Boughton was taken to Mercy Hospital, where his condition Wednesday was critical, according to a hospital spokeswoman. No information on Boughton was released Thursday by Mercy.

The crash, which was reported at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Albion Township, remains under investigation, according to the sheriff's office.
