Three arrested on heroin charges

— Three Janesville men suspected of selling drugs to a police informant were arrested Monday on charges of delivery of heroin.

An informant Monday purchased 0.4 grams of heroin from Rodney C. Nordberg, 22, of 1015 S. Terrace St., Janesville, in the 1400 block of South Oakhill Avenue, Janesville, according to police reports.


Officers at about 8:20 p.m. Monday stopped Nordberg's vehicle at Highway 51 and Knilans Road and arrested him on charges of delivery of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.


Timothy Carlson, 23, of 1630 S. Willard Ave., was arrested on charges of delivery of heroin, identity theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was arrested on an outstanding warrant.


Richard DeVoe Schroeder Sr., 44, of 1061 S. Terrace St., Janesville, was arrested on charges of delivery of heroin, keeping a drug trafficking place, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
