— Anyone who sees a medium-sized tan cat with white tiger stripes roaming the streets is asked to call (608) 755-2244 and report it so the cat can be captured, according to a Janesville Police Department news release.

The cat scratched and bit a woman on the arm as she walked her dog at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Johnson and Park streets near Fourth Ward Park.

When the woman tried to keep the cat away from her dog, it attacked her before running away.
