Arrests

-- EDWARD J. BROWN, 26, no fixed address, at 7:58 p.m. Sunday at Court and Water streets, Janesville, on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver with location riders. A search revealed nine bags of marijuana in his buttocks, according to police reports.


-- DANIEL P. DONOGHUE, 59, of 203 W. Sunny Lane, Janesville, at 1:01 p.m. June 22 on suspicion of parole violation.


-- A 17-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 5:25 p.m. June 19 in the 2100 block of Newman Street, Janesville. The boy was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of theft of a financial card and fraudulent use of a financial card less than $2500.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- KEITH W. ERICKSON, 43, of 565 Harding St., Janesville, at 1:20 a.m. Thursday at Parker Drive and Centerway, Janesville.


-- JOHNNY JAMEL BRICE, 23, of 1513 Porter Ave., Beloit, at 2:16 a.m. Sunday at Crosby Avenue and Rockport Road, Janesville.


Charged

-- JAMIE L. JACOBSON, 31, of 2715 Woodlane Drive, Janesville, with felony possession of marijuana and narcotics. He was arrested after police executed a search warrant June 16 at his home.


Accidents

-- GALAXY DRIVE AND ROTAMER ROAD, Harmony Township at 4:40 a.m. June 20. Daniel T. Kubala, 44, of 452 N. Chatham St., Janesville, was driving south on Galaxy Drive when his car struck a trailer parked illegally in the southbound lane. The trailer was forced into a skid loader, and Kubala’s car started on fire. Kubala was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, where he was treated and released. He was cited for inattentive driving. The owner of the trailer, Powell Construction, 9342 E. Bowers Lake Road, Milton, was cited for improper parking.


Fire calls

-- CONTROLLED BURN that got out of control at 2:15 p.m. Sunday at 3952 Cemetery Road, Janesville. A pile of burning limbs and brush spread out of control across three acres of land. Two Janesville Fire Department crews remained on the scene for 90 minutes.
