-- JOHN S. DIGGLES, 41, of 1756 S. Pine St., Janesville, at 9:37 p.m. Saturday at 18 N. Main St., Janesville, on charges of battery, causing great bodily harm, and resisting an officer. Diggles is accused of kicking another man in the ribs and punching him in the head. The man was found in an alley in the first block of North Parker Drive, Janesville, with broken ribs that punctured and collapsed his lung. Diggles allegedly resisted officers when arrested.


-- CHASE of a man accused of selling heroin to an undercover officer at about 4:27 p.m. Sunday in the Kellogg Avenue-Lafayette Street area on Janesville’s south side. Police tried a traffic stop after the purchase, and the man fled in a vehicle and then on foot. Police suspect he was in an apartment, but the residents would not let them in. The suspect was still being sought Sunday night. The man was not armed and was not believed to be a danger to residents.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- CRAIG T. KUDRNA, 25, of 1917 Clover Lane, Janesville, at 1:15 a.m. Saturday at Holiday and Pontiac drives, Janesville. Also arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. It was listed as his second intoxicated-driving arrest.
