Arrests

-- ANTONIO K. DAVENPORT, 30, of 633 Kellogg Ave., No. 1, Janesville, at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday at Lafayette Street and Kellogg Avenue, Janesville, on charges of four counts manufacturing or delivery cocaine, three counts of maintaining drug trafficking place and possession of controlled substances near certain places.


-- KENNETH L. PAYNE, 60, of Madison at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Dane County Jail on charges of forgery and a fugitive complaint out of Winnebago County, Ill.


-- DEREK B. SYMONS, 28, 545 S. Franklin St., Janesville, at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at Center Avenue and Holmes Street, Janesville, for one count of strangulation/suffocation.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- AARON D. RACH, 22, of 1218 Manor Drive, Janesville, at 2 a.m. Saturday at Highway 51 South and Hillside Drive, Beloit Township. It was listed as his second arrest on drunken driving charges. He was also ticketed for speeding.


Accidents

-- WRIGHT ROAD AND PALMER DRIVE, JANESVILLE, at 7:22 a.m. Tuesday. A vehicle driven by Karen J. Zastoupil, 58, of 1929 Foster Ave., Janesville, was southbound on Wright Road and turning left into a parking lot when it collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Thomas J. Brien, 63, of 1916 E. Racine St., No. 8, Janesville. Zastoupil was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Brien was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.


-- MILWAUKEE STREET WEST OF COLUMBUS CIRCLE, JANESVILLE, at 1:44 p.m. Tuesday. A motorcycle driven by Thomas J. Schaitel, 56, of 2518 Cedar Pointe Drive, Janesville, was eastbound when a garbage can blew into his path and caught under his front tire, causing his cycle to tip. Schaitel was treated and released at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.


-- HAWTHORNE AVENUE AT RINGOLD STREET, JANESVILLE, at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday. A vehicle driven by Seth M. Mekeel, 16, of 1332 Conde St., Janesville, was westbound, and a vehicle driven by Hattie S. Arndt, 18, of 2525 E. Woodman Road, Janesville, was southbound when the vehicles collided in the intersection. Mekeel was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Mekeel and a passenger in his vehicle, Katie M. Ferguson, 15, of 714 Benton Ave., Janesville, were treated at an area hospital, but their conditions were unavailable.
