Police seeking details in death of UW-W student
TOWN OF WHITEWATER Police are seeking the public's help in the investigation of a UW-Whitewater junior found dead early Sunday at Whitewater Limestone Quarry.
The body of Benjamin R. Fuder was found at 6:45 a.m. in the quarry, which is on Franklin Street in the town of Whitewater, just outside the Whitewater city limits, according to news releases from the Whitewater Police Department and the Walworth County Sheriff's Office.
Fuder was reported missing at 11:37 p.m. Saturday, according to the releases.
Fuder had last been seen around 12:30 a.m. Saturday in downtown area of Whitewater.
Fuder's hometown is Edgerton, according to UW-Whitewater records. He graduated from Edgerton High School in 2009, according to Gazette archives.
Fuder planned to major in international studies at UW-Whitewater, according to university records.
