Arrests

-- DUSTIN T. WHITE, 28, no fixed address, at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, taken into custody at the Janesville Police Department, 100 N. Jackson St., Janesville on one count of felony theft. Police suspect White stole $3,401 worth of items from a residence where he used to live in the first block of North Wisconsin Street, Janesville. Police suspect he then sold the items, which included a BMX bike, coins, Spider Man Comics, a Michael Jordan rookie card, specialty knives, brass knuckles, a bar of silver, a guitar, a grill and a Ronnie Lott action figure, to area pawnshops and businesses.

-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 6:45 p.m. July 9 at the Rock County Jail on a charge of first-degree sexual assault of a child. He is accused of assaulting a 5-year-old female relative.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JOSE DE JESUS REYES, 33, 622½ Milton Ave., Janesville, at 2:10 a.m. Wednesday at Cornelia and Glenn Streets, Janesville.

-- BRAD A. HANSON, 21, of 8321 S. County K, Beloit, at 2:40 a.m. July 22 on Highway 14 west of Highway 51 in the town of Janesville. Hanson also was cited for having open intoxicants in the vehicle.

-- BURGLARY at 5:17 p.m. July 17 to a home in the 6200 block of South Highway 51 in the town of Rock. Reported stolen were two cameras valued at $579.

-- BURGLARY at 10:40 a.m. July 9 from a construction site at 3911 Hackbarth Road in the town of Janesville. Reported stolen was wire valued at $80.

-- BURGLARY at 8:29 a.m. July 19 to the restaurant and bar at Blackhawk Campground, 3407 E. Blackhawk Drive, Milton. Slot machines were damaged, and $85 was reported stolen from the machines.

-- FRAUD at 3:58 p.m. July 18 at Johnson Bank, 1309 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Police believe that sometime between June 9 and June 12 a woman deposited two checks worth a total of $425 in a new account at the bank, and then withdrew the money before the checks cleared.

-- BURGLARY at 11:44 a.m. Monday at the 700 block of Yuba Street, Janesville. Someone took two BMX bicycles worth a total of $720 from the unlocked basement of a two-floor duplex.

-- FORGERY at 9:58 p.m. Sunday at Walgreen’s, 1933 W. Court Street, Janesville. A store manager found a counterfeit $10 bill in one of the cash drawers.

-- THEFT at Walmart, 3800 Deerfield Drive, Janesville. Police suspect a man took several GPS systems valued at $1,132 from the store. The thefts are thought to have happened on four separate occasions between July 12 and Friday.

-- FORGERY at 3:06 p.m. July 17 at Parker Community Credit Union, 1101 N. Parker Drive, Janesville. A branch manager found a counterfeit $100 in a deposit brought in by a local business.

-- BURGLARY at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday at the 1600 block of Royal Oaks Drive, Janesville. A man reported someone took a set of golf clubs worth $1,300 from his garage.

-- BURGLARY at 7:15 p.m. July 5 at the 1400 block of Canyon Drive, Janesville. A man reported someone earlier in the day had kicked open the door of his residence and took four 12-packs of soda and a 42-inch flat screen television.

-- BURGLARY at 9:19 a.m. July 6 at Green Industries, 1029 S. Jackson St., Janesville. Police suspect someone entered the building through a window overnight and took between 200 and 300 laptops brought to the property to be recycled. Police did not release an approximate total value of the computers.

-- VEHICLE THEFT at 12:14 a.m. July 9 at the 800 block of Hawthorne Avenue, Janesville. A woman reported she left her Pontiac G6 car parked in front of a residence with the keys and her wallet and purse in it. She later saw a man drive away in it without her permission. She found her car parked around the corner, but her wallet and purse were gone.
