UW-Rock County teams have mixed results

A second-half surge carried UW-Rock County’s men’s basketball team Wednesday night.

Jordan Conway scored 22 points and Kyle Woodworth added 17 as the Rattlers rallied for a 82-75 win over UW-Washington County.

Rock County (6-11, 3-4) trailed by three at half but outscored Washington County 42-32 in the second half.

Both the Rock County men’s and women’s teams play at UW-Marathon on Saturday.

ROCK COUNTY 82, WASHINGTON COUNTY 75

Women fall in second half

-- Washington County 53, Rock County 47—The Rattlers could not hang on to a nine-point halftime lead in losing the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference game.

Melissa Harnack had 21 points for Rock County (8-11, 7-7), which led 31-22 at half. Rock County scored only four points the last 10 minutes of the game. Lindsey Oliver added 11 points for the Rattlers.

WASHINGTON 53, ROCK COUNTY 47
