Ripon sweeps Beloit

The Beloit College men’s basketball team lost a buzzer-beater Wednesday night.

Aris Wurtz made a three-point shot as time expired to give Ripon College a 70-67 Midwest Conference win over the Buccaneers.

Beloit (5-10, 4-7) tied the game at 67-67 on Michael Horton’s jumper with three seconds left.

David Bremner had 20 points to lead the Bucs, while Delavan-Darien graduate Tyler Butke added 15.

Kirstin Acosta had 11 points and eight rebounds for Beloit.
