Third-quarter blitz sends Waterford past Lake Geneva Badger, other scores

A strong third quarter Tuesday night moved Waterford’s boys basketball team into a tie for first place in the Southern Lakes Conference.


The Wolverines outscored Lake Geneva Badger 18-7 in the third in pulling away for a 52-34 win.


Zach Fisher had 14 points for Waterford, which led 41-24 after three quarters.


Jacob Growel had 12 points for Badger, including three three-pointers.
