— UW-Whitewater’s junior varsity hammered UW-Rock County, 115-46, in nonconference women’s basketball.

Sam Newhouse scored 35 points to lead the bigger, stronger and faster Warhawks past the Rattlers, who played with five players.

Lindsey Oliver scored 16 points and Melissa Harnack added 14 points for the Rattlers.
