Middleton defeats Beloit Memorial

Middleton High School kept Beloit Memorial at bay en route to a 62-57 victory Monday in Big Eight Conference boys basketball.


Middleton improved to 9-0 in the Big Eight and 11-2 overall. Beloit fell to 3-7 and 4-8.


Jake Raffle scored nine of his 12 points in the fourth quarter, including a six-for-six effort from the foul line to seal the victory for visiting Middleton. Antoine Buchanan scored 21 points for the Cards.


Beloit’s Andre Neal scored a game-high 27 points.
