Edgerton collects Rock win, other scores

Defending Rock Valley North Conference champion Edgerton needed only one half to put Clinton away Tuesday night in a crossover game.


The Crimson Tide outscored the host Cougars by 16 points in the first half and coasted to a 54-41 win.


Edgerton (6-1 in the Rock Valley North), is one-half game behind idle Whitewater (6-0).


Brooke Ferrell had a game-high 15 points for Edgerton, including four three-point baskets. Whitney Oren added 14 for the Crimson Tide.


Taryn Ciochon had 10 points to lead Clinton.
