Craig fourth in gymnastics meet
Janesville Craig High School gymnasts scored 131.75 points Saturday at the Purgolder Invitational.
Middleton won the Gold Division title with 134.175 points. Craig was fourth. Sun Prairie won the Purple Division with 132.525 points.
Craig’s Ashley Pohlman finished second in the vault with an 8.95, and teammate Ashley McGoey finished second in the floor exercise with an 8.75. Pohlman finished sixth in the all-around with a 33.25.
“We had hoped to finish a little better, but we had medalists in every event so that’s excellent.’’ Craig coach Jean Welch said.
Craig’s next meet is Thursday, Jan. 26 at Janeville Parker.
