Middleton, Stoughton win nonconference games

A strong start lifted Middleton High’s boys basketball team Tuesday night.


The Cardinals jumped out to an eight-point lead and cruised to a 69-54 nonconference win over Fort Atkinson.


Brian Machmeier had 13 points to lead a balanced Middleton (7-2) offense.


Danny Jones led Fort Atkinson (8-4) with 11 points.


MIDDLETON 69, FORT ATKINSON 54
