Intoxicated driving arrest

-- ERIC T. GODWIN, 35, of 1103 Keeler Ave., Beloit, at 10:24 p.m. Jan. 1 at Security Road and Flack Road in Beloit Township. The arrest was listed as Godwin’s second on an intoxicated driving charge.


-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 1200 block of Bouchard Avenue, Janesville, reported Dec. 14. A screen was cut but it appeared no one entered the residence.

-- FORGERIES, when customers tried to pass counterfeit $20 bills at Logli Supermarket, 1501 Creston Park Drive, Janesville, on Dec. 4, and at Taco Bell, 2626 Highway 14, Janesville, on Dec. 30. At Logli, a man tried to buy a $400 money order with $20 bills and the clerk noticed one of the bills did not look genuine. When she pointed this out, the man gave her a different $20 bill.

-- AARON P. ANDERZ, 28, of 169 Lewis St., No. 2, Elkhorn, felony battery to emergency rescue worker, five months jail with Huber. Charges of misdemeanor battery, misdemeanor resisting/obstructing an officer and misdemeanor disorderly conduct were dismissed but read into court records.

-- SOMMER C. HAYES, 28, of 5219 S. Lake Drive, No. 3, Cudahy, felony OWI with passenger younger than 16 – third offense, 270 days jail with Huber, $2,600.

-- ERICA J. MIRANDA, 38, of 311 South St., No. 7, Lake Geneva, felony OWI – fifth or sixth offense, two years prison.

-- JOSE L. MENDOZA, 25, of 439 Sunny Hill Drive, Elkhorn, felony OWI – fourth within five years, 360 days jail with Huber, $1,200.

-- JEFFREY S. STUBBS, 43, of 1439 Pleasant St., Burlington, three counts felony exposing genitals to a child, one year jail with Huber. Charge of felony first-degree sexual assault of child – sexual contact with person under age 13 was dismissed but read into court records.

-- RICKY A. COSS, 52, of W3236 Willow Road, Lake Geneva, felony OWI – seventh, eighth or ninth offense, three years prison.

-- MICHAEL R. STEVENS, 21, of 290 N. Arlington, North Prairie, felony take and drive vehicle without consent and felony escape criminal arrest, six months jail, $872.
