Intoxicated driving arrests

-- DONALD E. KANGAS, 73, of 11305 W. Skinner Road, Brodhead, after an accident at 6:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of County K and Skinner Road in Newark Township in which his car went through the intersection and into a ditch, running over a stop sign. He was also issued citations for resisting an officer and open intoxicants.


Accidents

-- MILTON-SHOPIERE ROAD AND ROTAMER ROAD, Harmony Township. At 8:35 p.m. Sunday, a car driven by Seirra Mullen, 17, 4325 N. Tarrant Road, Milton, was traveling west on East Rotamer Road when her car hit a patch of ice and went into a ditch, rolling over. Mullen was taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, for possible injuries and was released. She was cited for driving too fast for conditions.


-- HIGHWAY 59 AND MICHAEL DRIVE, Magnolia Township. At 9:48 a.m. Saturday, an SUV driven by Debra J. Lisser, 52, of 303 Mineral St., Albany, was traveling east on Highway 59 when it hit a patch of ice and went into a ditch and rolled several times before hitting a tree. Lisser was transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, with non-life threatening injuries and was released.

-- CATTLE THEFT reported Dec. 24 on West Shadewalt Road in Spring Valley Township. Three Holsteins, each valued at $1,600, were reported stolen.


-- BURGLARY to a residence on Hamblett Street in Orfordville reported Dec. 24. A collapsible chair valued at $10 was stolen.


-- COUNTERFEIT $20 BILL reported at Stop-N-Go store, 3515 E. Milwaukee St., Janesville, reported at 4:45 p.m. Dec. 22. The customer who used the bill said she got it at the Janesville Target store. The Stop-N-Go clerk used a counterfeit detector pen, which indicated the bill was not real, police reported.


-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 600 block of Weirick Drive, Beloit Township, reported at 2 p.m. Dec. 14. A deputy’s report lists a suspect.


-- THEFT OF OUTBOARD MOTORS at Rock River Leisure Estates, Fulton Township, reported Dec. 27. Stolen from separate residences were a 140 horsepower Johnson motor valued at $12,000 and a 90 horsepower Yamaha motor valued at $15,000.


-- ILLEGAL DISCHARGE OF WEAPONS reported at 4:44 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 1200 block of Pine Street, Janesville. A man reported that someone shot his residence with an arrow.


-- THEFT reported at 4:14 p.m. Friday on East Milwaukee Street, Janesville. A diamond ring valued at $13,000 was reported stolen.


-- BURGLARY reported at 12:16 p.m. Monday to a garage in the 3300 block of Newcastle Drive, Janesville. A children’s electrical scooter was reported stolen.

-- JEFFREY S. HARDING, 42, Brodhead, at 7:16 p.m. Sunday in Decatur Township on a charge of felony physical abuse to a child.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- EUGENE P. HAAG, 67, Fitchburg, at 8:12 p.m. Monday in the W1000 block of County E, Decatur Township. Haag also was cited for operating left of center.
