Lakeside takes down Heights, Williams Bay falls

Caleb Gardner and Jason Eternick combined for 44 points to lead Lakeside Lutheran to a 78-44 win over Wisconsin Heights in a Capitol Conference crossover game Thursday night.


Lakeside (6-3) outscored Wisconsin Heights 26-9 in the second quarter to take a 18-point halftime lead.


Gardner led the Warriors with 24 points, while Eternick added 20.

Trailing 33-25 at half, the Demons held the Bulldogs to nine points in the third quarter on their way to the comeback win.


Vince Mosa led Deerfield with 19 points. Teammates Brandon Ehrke (14) and Chad Vande Wetering (10) also scored double digits for the Demons.


Adam Lechelt scored 15 points, while Lawrence Crement added 12 points in the loss.
