The Janesville Bluebirds had a little fun at the expense of Madison Memorial on Thursday night.

Tanner Woodman had two goals and four assists to lead Janesville’s high school co-op hockey team to a 10-1 Big Eight Conference win over the Spartans.

Janesville (9-5, 4-3) trailed 1-0 just 13 seconds into the game, but then unloaded on Memorial with 10 straight goals.

“We got good production once again from all three of our lines,” Janesville coach John Mauermann said. “We didn’t move the puck quite as well as I would’ve liked, but we did get the puck to the net.

“I was really pleased with the play of Tanner Woodman. He did a nice job on both ends of the ice.”

Ethan Eno scored Janesville’s first two goal in a 16-second span of the first period, and D.J. Mussey added two goals for the Bluebirds.

Janesville hosts Beloit Memorial at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Janesville Ice Arena.
