Wieseman leads Lake Geneva Badger to victory

Lana Wieseman scored 27 points to lead Lake Geneva Badger to a 51-41 victory over visiting Elkhorn in Southern Lakes Conference girls basketball action Tuesday night.


Wieseman had 21 points in the second half, including 11 in the third quarter when the Badgers took a 30-28 lead after trailing 20-17 at half. Wieseman added 10 in the fourth quarter when Badger (4-0, 6-3) pulled away.


Grace Ames had 12 points, and Emily Schahczynski added 10 for the Elks (2-2 in the SLC, 2-7 overall).
