Edgerton Police investigating convenience store robbery

— Authorities are investigating the robbery of a convenience store early Thursday in downtown Edgerton.

Police were called to Stop-n-Go, 1 S. Main St., at about 4 a.m. Thursday, where a person reportedly had robbed the business of cash at knifepoint, according to a news release from the Edgerton Police Department.

The robber reportedly left with cash. No one was hurt.

Police have not given a description of the robber, but authorities are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call the Edgerton Police Department at (608) 884-3321 or Janesville Area CrimeStoppers at (608) 756-3636.
