The Janesville Jets traveled to St. Louis for a pivotal three-game series with the Bandits, and the Jets owning a comfortable 7-point lead in the NAHL’s Midwest Division.

That lead is now down to one point.

Joe Kalisz had three assists, and the Bandits rallied from an early deficit in skating past the Jets, 6-1. St. Louis won all three games of the weekend series and now sits with 64 points in the Midwest Division, one point behind Janesville.

The Jets started strong thanks to Jayce Paulseth’s unassisted goal at 1:00 of the first period. The Bandits answered with six straight goals, including three in the first period to take a 3-1 lead.

Janesville starting goalie Brock Kautz stopped only 10 of 15 shots he faced in suffering the loss.

The Jets, who have already clinched a playoff berth, play at Jamestown, N.Y. in a two-game series next weekend.
