East Troy lights up the board, other scores

The points keep piling up for East Troy’s boys basketball team.


The Trojans broke the 90-point barrier for the third straight game Tuesday in a 93-34 Rock Valley North win over Whitewater.


Army recruit Tanner Plomb led five players in double figures with 28 points as the fourth-ranked Trojans continue to roll in the Rock Valley


East Troy (16-2, 12-0), ranked fifth in the state in Division 3, led 47-22 at half.


Austin Morkved had 22 points for Whitewater (4-13, 3-9).

The Cougars led, 42-34, going into the final quarter before the Panthers rallied behind 11 points from Alex Kellly, including a pair of three-point shots.


Five Clinton players scored in overtime, including a three-point shot by Chandler Stevenson.


Justin Langley and Stevenson each finished with 14 points for the Cougars, who improved to 11-1 in the Rock Valley South and 16-1 overall. cody Risseeuw added 11 points.


Kelly finished with 14 for Palmyra-Eagle (4-8, 7-10). Nate Behr had 12, and Matt Preuss and Tyler Troiola each added 10.
