-- DAVID L. HILL, 31, of 8 Garfield St., Edgerton, at 4:48 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Rock County Jail for two counts of burglary.

-- 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY, at 8:16 p.m. Sunday at his home was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of burglary and theft for allegedly taking $50 from a home in the 700 block of Edison Avenue, Janesville.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JORDAN R. MCCOLLUM, 27, of 1420 Peterson Ave., Janesville, at 3:02 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of South Parker Drive, Janesville.

-- LANCE B. MILLER, 43, of 15 N. High St., No. 1, Janesville, at 3:45 a.m. Sunday at High and Milwaukee streets, Janesville, after an officer found him passed out behind the wheel of his car, which had crashed into a tree, according to a police report.


-- HIGHWAY 140 AT COUNTY P in Clinton Township. At 8:48 a.m. Jan. 27, a car driven by Michael G. Downing, 45, of 2331 Robinson Drive, Janesville, was stopped at the sign westbound on County P. A straight truck driven by Allen E. Weiland, 52, of 3118 S. Scott St., Avalon, was driving south on Highway 140. Downing pulled his vehicle into the path of Weiland’s truck. Downing was transported to a local hospital, but his condition was not available Monday. He was cited for failure to yield.

-- HIGH STREET NORTH OF HIGHWAY 59 in Milton Township. At 11:15 p.m. Feb. 3, Gary D. Lenz, 59, of 518 Crestwood Court, Jefferson, was driving east on High Street when he failed to negotiate the curve at Highway 59. His pickup truck left the road, struck an embankment, crossed airborne over Highway 59, rolled twice in the south ditch of the highway and came to rest in a cornfield. Lenz was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.


-- STEVEN J. VINGUM, 45, of 34˝ N. Second St., Evansville, with burglary, theft and felony bail jumping. He is accused of burglarizing on Jan. 26 a home on Franklin Street in Evansville.

-- JACOB A. STEVENS, Chippewa Falls, with party to operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent. He is accused of driving a car reported stolen from Eau Claire on Feb. 1 in Janesville.

-- GERARDO MONTANO, 41, of 172 Martin St., Sharon, with endangering public safety by reckless use of a firearm. He is accused of firing a semi-automatic rifle into a residence at Shady Hills Mobile Home Park, 9204 E. Creek Road, Clinton.
