Edgerton rolls to victory, other scores

Edgerton High School held Palmyra-Eagle to single digits in each quarter en route to a 59-29 victory Monday in Rock Valley crossover girls basketball.


Edgerton improved to 12-4 overall and 8-3 in the Rock North. Palmyra-Eagle fell to 3-13 and 1-10 in the Rock South.


Whitney Oren scored eight of her team-high 13 points in the first half to pace the Crimson Tide to a 28-12 halftime lead. Megan Johnson and Kassie Walters finished with 11 points apiece for Edgerton.


Caitlyn Rautsaw scored a game-high 15 points for Palmyra-Eagle.

15-3 first-quarter lead on their way to the victory.


East Troy improved to 15-1 overall and 10-1 in the Rock North. Jefferson fell to 7-6 and 5-4.


Brianna Gaspervich scored a game-high 18 points. Rachel Achinson added 16 points, Andrea Olson had 13 and Alicia Oleson chipped in 11 for the Trojans.


Kristin Wagner scored 10 points for Jefferson.

Stevie Winer scored 15 points, and Maddie Hettinger added 11 points for McFarland. Big Foot did not have a player score in double figures.
