Bluebirds romp over Lakers

The Janesville Bluebirds had a little fun at the expense of the Madison East/La Follette Lakers on Saturday.

Connor Perkins and Dan Addie recorded hat tricks to lead Janesville’s high school boys co-op team to an 11-0 Big Eight Conference win at the Janesville Ice Arena.

Janesville (12-8-1, 5-6-1) jumped out to a 4-0 lead after one period and never looked back.

“We moved the puck really well today,” Janesville coach John Mauermann said. “We only gave up one shot in the second period, and we got contributions from all three lines.”

Janesville plays at Hartland Arrowhead in a nonconference game Tuesday.
