Janesville loose battle of top teams
PORT HURON, MICH. A power-play goal was the difference Friday night in an NAHL battle of first-place teams.
Bret Lewandowski scored at 13:41 of the third period to give Port Huron a 3-2 win over the Janesville Jets.
Peter Megariotis made 31 saves for NAHL North Division leader Port Huron.
Janesville, the Midwest Division leader, took a 1-0 in the first period on Connor McBride’s unassisted goal. The Jets tied the game at 2 at 58 seconds of the third on Bryan Kronberger’s goal.
The two teams wrap up the two-game series tonight.
