It's ho, ho, ho holiday basketball tournament time

It's holiday tournament time for a number of area boys and girls basketball teams.

Janesville Craig's girls host the annual Optimist Classic starting with semifinal games today. Madison Edgewood (3-2) and Merrill (5-2) play at 6 p.m. in the first game, followed by Craig (4-3) and Oregon (3-3) in the second game at 7:45 p.m.

One of the top games on the schedule has unbeaten Janesville Parker (6-0) playing unbeaten Wilmot (8-0) in the second game of the La Crosse Logan holiday girls tournament at 7 p.m. today.

Milton High is also hosting a girls two-day tournament beginning today. The Red Hawks (4-3) play Muskego (3-4) in today's second game, with Beloit Memorial and Watertown playing in game one.
