-- A 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE GIRL at 7:06 p.m. Monday was referred to juvenile authorities on charges of strangulation/suffocation and battery after police said she got into a physical altercation with her sister.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- MONICA L. RUBECK, 38, of 241 N. Janesville St., Milton, at 2:40 a.m. Sunday on Centerway at North Parker Drive, Janesville. She also was cited for failure to stop for flashing red signal.
-- RYAN A. YUNKER, 22, of 500 S. Edwards Boulevard, No. 60, Lake Geneva, at 12:38 a.m. Saturday on Highway 14 west of Wuthering Hills Drive, Janesville. It is listed as his second intoxicated-driving arrest. He also was cited for operating while revoked and operating left of center.

-- POSSESSION OF HEROIN reported at 10:10 a.m. Dec. 8. A Janesville woman called police to say her boyfriend had taken her vehicle and was arrested in Rockford. Upon having the vehicle returned to her, her boyfriend told her he had drugs hidden under the ashtray. She asked that police take the drugs because she didn't want them in her vehicle.
-- BURGLARY to a garage and motor home in the 3600 block of East Rotamer Road, Janesville, reported at 10:18 p.m. Sunday. A 13-inch TV, 60-inch TV, laptop, space heater, boom box, loose change and assorted jewelry, all valued at $3,315, were reported stolen.
-- COUNTERFEIT $50 BILL passed Thursday night at Lions Quick Mart, 104 E. Racine St., Janesville.
