Parker boys' offense hits dead end
The struggles continue for Janesville Parker's boys basketball team.
Madison West raced out to a 16-point halftime lead and coasted to a 64-21 Big Eight Conference win Thursday night.
Parker (1-6, 0-6) and West were tied 5-5 after one quarter but the Vikings were outscored 59-16 the rest of the way.
"Our defense was pretty solid the first quarter where we gave ourselves a chance, but we fell apart after that," Parker coach Ryan Masterson said. "Right now, we're just not putting ourselves in position to execute on the offensive end.
"We've got a find a way to become consistent on the offensive end where we set up and get good shots. We have to stop rushing."
Mitch Treinen had seven points to lead Parker, which hosts Verona on Saturday night.
