Craig booster club plans alumni basketball event

JANESVILLE — The first Craig Cougar alumni basketball event will take place Saturday, Jan. 12, at Craig High School, 401 S. Randall Ave.

Registration will start at 8 a.m. with games beginning at 9 a.m. Men's and women's teams will consist of former players who played at any level in high school. Teams will be organized by graduation year after registration is completed. All teams will play a minimum of two games. Referees will be provided. A 3-point shooting contest also will be held.

Cost to participate is $20. No admission fees will be charged for friends and family to attend. Proceeds will benefit Craig basketball programs via the Eastside Basketball Booster Club.
