UW women win in OT

MADISON — The University of Wisconsin women’s basketball team posted an 82-73 overtime victory Monday over visiting Florida Atlantic.

The Badgers (6-3) blasted the Owls, 13-4, in the overtime to notch their third straight victory. Wisconsin’s Morgan Paige sank two free throws with nine seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime.

Paige scored a game-high 28 points. The Badgers’ Jacki Gulczynski added 16 points and Tiera Stephen added 12 points.
