Whippet girls stay perfect

Brooke Trewyn and the Whitewater High girls basketball team continues to roll.

The Whippets broke out to an eight-point lead after the first quarter Saturday and coasted to a 68-45 nonconference win over Westosha Central.

Trewyn led the 5-0 Whippets with 27 points, including three three-point baskets. Dani Dolan added 14 for Whitewater.

Whitewater plays Edgerton in a Rock Valley North contest on Tuesday.

WHITEWATER 68, WESTOSHA 45

Whitewater (68)—Reynolds, 2-3-7; Hollingshead, 0-2-2; Jaskolski, 1-0-3; Dolan, 5-3-14; Trewyn, 10-4-27; Hookstead, 2-0-4; Mathews, 0-1-1; Schumacher, 2-2-6; Walker, 1-2-4. Totals: 23-17-68.
