Two accused of keeping a drug house

— The Janesville Police Department Street Crimes Unit seized marijuana and other drugs and arrested two people after the search of a Janesville home.

At 3 p.m. Tuesday, police executed a search warrant at 1421 McKinley St., Janesville, according to a news release from the police department.

Seized were $933, drug paraphernalia, multiple prescription medications and nearly an ounce of marijuana.

Simone T. Harris, 24, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, keeping a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was Mark T. B. Billups, 36, on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, keeping a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the news release.

Both men were residents of the McKinley Street home.

The search was the result of a several-week investigation of the sale of drugs from the home.
