Snappers win in 12 innings
GRAND CHUTE Adam Pettersen singled home Stephen Wickens in the 12th inning to give the visiting Beloit Snappers a 6-5 victory Wednesday over the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in Midwest League baseball.
Steven Gruver (7-8) pitched two scoreless innings in relief to notch the victory.
Beloit scored a run in the sixth and three in the seventh to rebound from a 4-0 deficit. Each team scored a run in the 10th inning.
