-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY, at 7:20 p.m. Aug. 19 at Court and Linn streets in Janesville on a charge of robbery. He is accused of taking a cellphone and $50 from a 17-year-old girl.
-- JAMIE L. GRIGSBY, 35, of 509 S. Academy St., Janesville, at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 21 at 100 S. Franklin St., Janesville, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, manufacturing or delivering heroin and felony possession of marijuana. SAMUEL H. GRANDYS, 23, of 63 Campus Lane, Janesville, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and felony drug possession. ANDREW R. VANRENS, 24, of 209 Jefferson Ave., Janesville, on a charge of felony drug possession. A 25-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE WOMAN was cited for possession of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia. Janesville police made the arrests after conducting undercover surveillance at 509 S. Academy St.
-- KENDALL A. HILTS, 17, of 15 Elliot St., Janesville, at 3:13 a.m. Aug. 17 at Center Avenue and Delavan Drive in Janesville. He was cited for violating absolute sobriety and operating after suspension.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- THOMAS J. FARLEY, 10145 W. Highway 81, Beloit, at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 20 on Beloit Newark Road east of Smythe School Road in the town of Newark. The arrest was listed as Farley's second on an intoxicated driving charge.
-- JAMES T. PAKES, 26, of 5546 W. Tripp Road, Janesville, at 5:25 a.m. Aug. 19 on County D south of Plymouth Church Road in the town of Rock.
-- TY P. DARTEZ, 42, Athens, Georgia, at 4:52 a.m. Aug. 19 on Larsen Road north of Highway 67 in the town of Clinton.
-- ROSBEL I. VELEZ SALAZAR, 21, of 10 1/2 Caitlin St., Edgerton, at 12:55 a.m. Aug. 21 on County F north of County M in the town of Fulton. The arrest was listed as Velez's second on an intoxicated driving charge.
-- DESIREE A. ROBINSON, 25, of 25 N. John Paul Road, Milton at 2:40 a.m. Sunday at Morningside Drive and Mount Zion Avenue, Janesville.
-- KEITH W. ERICKSON, 43, of 565 Harding St., Janesville at 1:48 a.m. Wednesday at Main and Racine streets, Janesville. The arrest was listed as Erickson's second on an intoxicated driving charge.

-- CHILD NEGLECT reported at noon Aug. 20 in the 2600 block of Vail Court in Janesville. Officials are investigating a report of two young children being left alone for several days.
-- BURGLARY, reported at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Lincoln Street, Janesville. Reported taken were a 32-inch television, video game controls and games valued at $4,989.
-- OPERATING A VEHICLE WITHOUT THE OWNER'S CONSENT, reported at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday at Cherry and Holmes streets, Janesville. Reported stolen was a 2005 black Kia Amanti valued at $4,000.
Accidents
-- LOCUST AND VAN BUREN STREETS, in Janesville at 5:11 p.m. Aug. 10. Amanda K. Honeysett, 18, of 408 N. Jackson St., No. 4, Janesville, was eastbound on Van Buren Street and moved to turn south onto Locust Street. Midway through the intersection, her car struck a motorcycle ridden by David A. Olsen, 49, of 3121 S. Schuman Road, Hanover. Olsen was admitted and has now been released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville. Honeysett was cited for failure to yield.
