Intoxicated driving arrests
-- DAVON M. PEACOCK, 23, of 1203 Somerset Court, Janesville, at 2:33 a.m. Saturday, on West Delavan Drive at Center Avenue, Janesville.
-- CHAIS T. BAILEY, 22, of 111 E. Van Buren St., Janesville, at 2:21 p.m. Friday on North Garfield Avenue at East Memorial Drive, Janesville. Also cited for prohibited alcohol content, open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and speeding with a 2-month-old child in the vehicle.
-- DISTURBANCE at 10:59 p.m. Friday in the area of Gartland Avenue and North Washington Street, Janesville, when officers found six people, who denied being involved. A short time later, the mother of one of the 15-year-olds at the incident reported to police her son was injured during a fight during the disturbance. The 15-year-old now claims a battery incident took place with multiple people when a firearm was displayed. Two 15-year-old Janesville boys were later arrested in conjunction with the event and were taken into custody.
-- ON JOLIET STREET OFF GARDEN DRIVE, Janesville, at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, when Samantha K. Leeder, 16, of 1801 Garden Drive, Janesville, lost control of the 2002 Chevy Impala she was driving causing it to go up over the curb, hit a tree and flip onto its roof, trapping her inside. She was taken to St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital for treatment. Her condition was not available Sunday night.
-- ON CENTER AVENUE, NEAR WEST STATE STREET, Janesville, at 8:50 p.m. Friday, when a car driven by Johnny K. Vance, 47, of 5133 E. County S, Beloit, was hit by another vehicle that fled the scene. Both Vance and his passenger, Patti J. Vance, 48, of the same address, were taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville, where they were treated and released.
