Whitecaps drop Beloit Snappers

— The Beloit Snappers lost 6-1 Monday to the host West Michigan Whitecaps in Midwest League baseball.

The Whitecaps reached Snappers starter Steve Gruver (1-2) for four runs—one earned—on five hits through five innings. Beloit scored one run on six hits off a pair of West Michigan pitchers.


The Snappers committed four errors and left seven men on base.
