Janesville Craig tops West, falls to Memorial for Big Eight split

— Janesville Craig managed a split Monday in Big Eight Conference boys high school golf.

The Cougars’ 322 team score topped Madison West’s 323, but Madison Memorial carded a 308 at Odana Hills for the sweep.

Ryne Clatworthy carded a a 3-over 75 (38-37) to lead Craig and teammate Tanner Woodman added a 78. Jodan Gagg followed with an 83 and Tommy White posted an 86 to round out Craig’s scores.

Three Spartans scored below 80, including Peter Webb’s 1-over 73 (36-37) for medalist honors. John Springer added a 75 and Brad O’Loughlin shot a 76.

The Cougars compete in the Waunakee Invitational on Saturday at the Meadows of Six Mile Creek.
