— Two goals from Lawrence Childs and a strong defensive effort ensured the Janesville Jets they would have at least one more game at the Janesville Ice Arena this season.

The Jets limited Springfield to 21 shots on goal en route to a 2-1 victory over the Junior Bandits on Saturday night. The victory tied the best-of-five NAHL playoff series at 2-2.

The deciding Game 5 will be at the Ice Arena at 5 p.m. today.

The Jets organization is offering a special discounted ticket price of $5 per ticket. Fans can purchase tickets at the arena starting at 3:45.

After a scoreless first period, Childs put Janesville ahead, 1-0, with a goal at the 9:23 mark of the second period. Garrett Cecere and Adam Frank assisted.

Childs struck again in the third period. His unassisted goal at the 3:59 mark gave Janesville a two-goal lead.

That proved to be the difference when Springfield scored its only goal with nine minutes left.

But the Janesville defense allowed only nine shots in the third period, and goalie Tony Kujava was able to keep Springfield at bay. He made 20 saves.
