— Two Janesville men and a teen were arrested Wednesday after reports of arguing and an armed subject in the parking lot of an apartment complex on the city's east side.

Police were dispatched to 3704 Stuart St. after a drug complaint at 6:50 p.m. and a report of an armed subject at 7:20 p.m.

Police searched the building and found three males hiding in a basement storage unit, Sgt. Aaron Ellis said. The men had possession of a 12-gauge shotgun and handgun ammunition, but no handgun was found, he said.

After police executed a search warrant, they found a small amount of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and drug packaging materials, Ellis said.
