Milton soccer blanks Parker; Craig falls to Watertown

Milton High School's boys soccer team made quick work of Janesville Parker in a nonconference game Thursday night.

The Red Hawks scored two goals in the first five minutes en route to a 5-0 win.

Sam Novak and Kevin Kolloff had two goals each for Milton (12-5-1), while Nick Drew made three saves in earning the shutout.

Parker (1-13-2) was coming off its first win of the season, a 1-0 Big Eight Conference win over Janesville Craig on Tuesday.

n Watertown 4, Craig 0—Watertown took advantage of the wind in the second half to score three times in the second half to down host Craig.

Craig coach Charles Friedrich said the game was another learning experience for his young squad.

"The kids are still motivated," he said. "With a 13-game losing streak, it's hard to do that."

Ian Reinicke came the closest of scoring a goal for Craig. His shot in the first half with the top crossbar of the goal, bounced down and then away from the net.

Keegan Lechey was called up from the junior varsity squad to be the keeper due to a red card the regular keeper

received against Janesville Parker on Tuesday. Lechey made eight saves.

The Cougars play No. 3-ranked Kenosha Tremper on Saturday.

"We're going up against a quality team," Friedrich said. "We're getting stronger. It will get better down the road."
