— Rock County sheriff’s detectives are investigating $25,000 damage at a rural Clinton nursery.

Between Friday and Saturday, three vehicles were driven into a pond at Breezy Hill Nursery, 11256 County X in Clinton Township east of Clinton. A utility trailer was burned to the ground, and an office and several vehicles were spray-painted, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

When deputies responded to a fire call at 7:46 a.m. Saturday at the nursery, they found a 20-foot utility trailer destroyed by fire. Breezy Hill employees reported several vehicles were damaged by spray paint and others were missing.

A photo of the damage shows neon pink spray paint on office equipment, paperwork and the inside walls of another trailer that is used as an office.

The missing John Deere tractor, John Deere Gator and Chevrolet Silverado pickup were found under water in a pond on the property. The sheriff’s office dive team recovered the vehicles.

Anyone with information about the damage can call the sheriff’s office at (608) 757-7925 or (608) 757-7927.
